Importance of ‘Me’

Why do we as a mother feel hesitant and regret taking out some time for ourselves? Although this is a viable truth that a mother carries an enormous amount of responsibilities on her shoulders, however, no one denies the value of self-care and mindfulness.

Undoubtedly, if your soul is as positive and healthy as your environment a positive vibe would be enough to energize others around you. On the contrary, a lethargic, robotic and dull body results in extra energy being needed for each menial task. On a daily basis, we are given a plethora of tasks that need to be fulfilled, but have you ever thought about your own sanity and satisfaction? Most of our routine tasks have deadlines that need to be met, but how are we expected to meet them if our bodies are too tired to function.

It's never too late, take out some leisure time for yourself in order to nurture and groom your soul. This approach is not only beneficial for yourself, but also for your loved ones. Subsequently, we will be able to complete our collective task more productively. Indulge yourself in any activity that provides mental peace and happy thoughts for a healthy body and soul. For example, book reading, diary writing, shopping, self-grooming, arts & crafts, and socializing with your friends, etc.

Prioritize yourself and understand the importance of ‘Me’ because you can’t enjoy the future if you don’t take care of yourself in the past. So don’t hesitate to take care of yourself and always remember that your happiness is closely related to others' happiness!
